Discussions without solid conclusions

The MrBeast Series

• discussion started in #offtopic
  • a lot of guesswork involved, but for the discussed video selfpromo was used
    • this might change if new info is revealed later, in future videos
  • the show is funded by amazon (with $100 million)
  • he's (one of?) the executive producer, which likely gives him some control over the series
    • he's likely being paid for this position, but getting paid for work done is normal and should not be considered as an argument for sponsor
    • note that he's not the only executive producer
  • the segment in the discussed video has no explicit CTAs to amazon prime video, and only mentions the service by name once per segment
  • there's no link to amazon at all in the description
  • he probably will be paid per view, but IMO this is only an arguemnt for selfpromo, because this means he has some share in the series, rather than just acting as a celebrity or format inventor
