The VIP user group is granted to people who are SponsorBlock and DeArrow VIPs (moderators). They have more permissions for editing on the wiki, most importantly:
- Have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled (
autopatrol) - Edit pages protected as "Allow only VIPs" (
editvipprotected)
